Democrats work to take focus off President JoeBiden in midterm elections
Former White House press secretary Jen Psaki made headlines over the weekend with a prediction that Democrats know"they will lose" if the midterm elections are a referendum on President Joe Biden.
"Any campaigning on our side that's not talking about this president's incompetence has a good shot at losing," he said. "There’s no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans," Biden said."And that is a threat to this country."
"I cannot talk about the midterms from here. What I can say is that we are going to go out there. ... We are going to talk about how we have delivered for the American people," she said, adding that the Inflation Reduction Act is"very popular with the American people, with Republicans and Democrats."
