Demi Lovato and Viola Davis have led celebrity outcry following a mass shooting at a school in Nashville.

Their response came after a woman holding two ‘assault-style’ rifles and a pistol killed three adults and three nine-year-old students at a private Christian school on Monday.

The victims have since been identified as Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all nine years old, and adults Cynthia Peak, 61; Katherine Koonce, 60; and Mike Hill, 61. Singer Demi reposted a news report to her Instagram Story along with a post that indicated the shocking ‘number of mass shootings in 2023’ versus the lack of ‘gun safety bills signed’.She also shared a black and white list of the victims’ names.

Rapper Cardi B posted an angry statement to her own Instagram Story above a Reel showing security footage from the school that read: ‘S**t makes me shake…I f***in wish she went through a lot of pain before she died [sic]’.Niecy Nash broke down in tears as she sent prayers to the victims of the Nashville school shooting.
