Work on renovations at St Joseph Catholic Elementary is months behind schedule
St Joseph Catholic Elementary in Belleville
The local Catholic school board is pushing back the completion date on renovations at a Belleville elementary school. Trustees with the Algonquin Lakeshore Catholic District School Board received an update from staff on numerous capital projects, including St. Joseph Catholic on Bridge Street East.Staff says due to unforeseeable circumstances related to existing site conditions, the completion date has been pushed back to spring 2024. At the time of publishing this article, it has not been clarified what site conditions are causing the delays.
Students are currently being housed at the former Sir Winston Churchill Public School on MacDonald Avenue.St. Joseph Catholic Elementary in Belleville
