St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Deputy Clayton Osteen died Sunday after attempting to take his own life on New Year's Eve. His wife, Deputy Victoria Pacheco, committed suicide Monday morning.
ST. LUCIE COUNTY, Florida — A sheriff’s department has been left stunned after two married deputies, the parents of a 1-month-old son, died as a result of suicide within days of each other.on Facebook saying Deputy Clayton Osteen, 24, who was off-duty, attempted to take his life just before midnight on New Year’s Eve. Osteen’s family took him off life-support on Sunday.
“Words cannot express the tremendous loss we feel after losing two members of our sheriff’s office family,” Mascara says in the statement.
