Federal investigators are due to arrive in Alaska to try to piece together what caused a deadly midair collision between two sightseeing planes
Associated PressANCHORAGE—A team of federal investigators is expected to arrive in Alaska on Tuesday to try to piece together what caused a deadly midair collision between two sightseeing planes.
Four people were killed after the planes carrying tourists from a cruise ship collided Monday near the southeastern Alaska town of Ketchikan, the Coast Guard said. Two others were missing, according to Petty Officer Jon-Paul Rios, a Coast Guard spokesman.
