The former chief of staff to Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser sexually harassed a woman multiple times in 2020, according to an internal report.
The Mayor's Office of Legal Counsel said it substantiated two allegations made against John Falcicchio, the former chief of staff and deputy mayor to Bowser, in a report released on Monday. Falcicchio resigned from his position in March after serving as a close adviser to the mayor for several years. He has been accused of sexual harassment by at least two D.C. employees, with Monday's report representing the latest allegation.
The other substantiated claim is that in 2020, Falcicchio allegedly sent the anonymous female employee"flirtatious messages and asked her personal questions about her romantic life to manipulate her into feeling comfortable with him."
