Residents in a densely populated neighborhood near the capitol grounds are on high alert after multiple daytime sightings of a coyote, causing concern among pet
"It's been about the last three weeks," said Stuart Graves, a resident who has lived in the area for 22 years. "I have never seen a coyote on my street."
Many residents frequently walk their dogs in the area, and some, like Graves, allow his cat to walk with him outdoors. The coyote sightings, however, have forced some pet owners to take extra precautions. The issue isn't isolated to this neighborhood. Residents in Cottonwood Heights have also reported coyote sightings, including one woman who posted on social media about an injured coyote in her backyard."There's not enough therapy in the world if I saw that happen to my cat," Graves said. "It would be horrific. I guess you would get over it, but the guilt and just all of it.
