A Dauphin County mother, Cheryl Azar, lost all three of her sons to gun violence . Her youngest son, Azar Hughes , was shot and killed on North 3rd street in Harrisburg July 5th. Cheryl says she and her son were scheduled to move to Atlanta last Tuesday. That all changed and now instead of planning the move she is planning his funeral.Cheryl remembers her son, Azar Hughes , as a peacemaker and someone that got along with everyone. He is her most recent son that died due to gun violence .

“I heard my son was at an event stop the gun violence. It was a contribute to his brothers dead to gun violence not knowing he would come out of that event to be the next gun violence victim," said Cheryl.“I'm not going to give up the fight for my boys they’re all I have. Now I don’t have any of them," said Cheryl.

Cheryl adds she was trying to get help from the government for a while to protect her last son from gun violence. “I went to everyone They dragged their feet. they will get back to me I got no answers," explained Cheryl.“Crime delinquency building called me to say everything went through. As far as the resources to help me get my son out of the state. I told her it’s too late my son is dead due to gun violence," said Cheryl.“I’m still waiting to see my son. I don’t even know how to plan his funeral,” said Cheryl.to help raise money for her son's funeral.
