Dasha Smith Dwin has departed Sony Music Entertainment to take on a new role with the NFL as chief people officer

At the league, Dwin will be responsible for all human resource activities, including talent and diversity strategies, workplace culture, compensation and recognition programs, leadership development and succession planning. She will report to NFL COO. “Her sharp insight, work style, and unique experience make her the right person to drive our efforts to grow, engage, and inspire our workforce.
In February 2018, the veteran HR executive was appointed to lead Sony Music's global human resources function, based in New York. At the time of Dwin's appointment, Sony Music CEOcalled her an "innovative and visionary leader," saying that "the world is obviously changing and we believe this appointment gives Sony Music an opportunity to be a leader in Human Resources, a strategic priority for our organization.
