But when it came to tallying viewers’ votes, Spears and Bersten were among the bottom two in danger of elimination along with retired football star Adrian Peterson and his partner, Britt Stewart. Then, after some tension-building, host Alfonso Ribeiro announced that Spears would be going home. \n\n\n\n“Honestly, it’s quite surprising,” judge Derek Hough said, stumbling for words after the blindsiding elimination. “Jamie Lynn you were fantastic.
