Frontier is now one of the largest independent municipal solid waste collection companies in Texas, according to Blue Sage. It serves commercial and residential customers in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston and San Antonio markets.
Blue Sage invests in middle market companies by partnering with founders, families or management teams in niche manufacturing, environmental solutions or speciality industries. “Frontier was a true labor of love for our team at Blue Sage,” said partner Eric Weiner in a statement.that he and other Frontier managers “remain significant owners and are excited for this next phase of growth and development including further vertical integration and materials processing.”
Frontier started with the acquisition of two companies, Access Disposal Services and K2 Waste Solutions.
