A Dallas police officer was arrested Tuesday on a child endangerment charge out of Carrollton, authorities say.
Aleia Burley, 29, faces a charge of abandoning or endangering a child with the intent to return, according to Dallas police. She was off duty when the incident occurred and did not appear in jail records Tuesday afternoon.Burley has been with the Dallas Police Department since May 2021 and is assigned to the South Central Patrol Division. She is on administrative leave while the department investigates.Lozano was also off-duty at the time of the incident.
