A Dallas Fire-Rescue paramedic was arrested early Sunday in Old East Dallas on a driving while intoxicated charge, officials say.
Armando Fierro was off-duty when he crashed in a one-vehicle accident about 1:15 a.m. in the 2700 block of Samuell Boulevard, near Interstate 30 and Samuell-Grand Park, Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman Jason Evans said. Fierro, 29, did not appear in jail records Tuesday, and it was unclear whether he had an attorney.Fierro has been with Dallas Fire-Rescue for about three years, Evans said.
