Hennagir III was on his second deployment serving as a combat engineer with the 2nd Combat Engineer Battalion attached to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, in Zaidon, Iraq, when he was severely injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion. Homes for Our Troops is building Raymond a home in Cedar Hill, and is asking for North Texans' help. A specially adapted custom Homes For Our Troops home will provide Raymond with ample space for his wheelchair, and give him room to have his own workshop for his woodworking passion. HFOT will hold a Community Kickoff at First United Methodist Church in Cedar Hill (128 North Roberts Road) on Saturday, June 24 at 10 a.m. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.
