A dad has blasted the state of the toilets at Co-op Academy Failsworth
A dad has blasted the state of toilets at his son's high school, saying he's 'frightened to death' of using them.
"My son took these photos recently to highlight the conditions. One picture shows sexual racist content graffitied on the wall and the other picture shows the sheer disgusting conditions of the toilets themselves.""We have contacted the school on four occasions," he said. "The last correspondence was a joke. I was told over the phone that an assistant monitors the toilets at all times and they are cleaned frequently.
"In the case that has been raised to us, the student involved was issued a toilet pass for medical reasons. We were keen to discuss any issues with the students’ parents, but unfortunately they did not attend the meeting organised with them today. We hope to reorganise it soon. "This incident has led us to review our process to ensure that graffiti is reported and dealt with as a matter of urgency."
On one occasion, she said her 14-year-old daughter bled onto the chair in class after she was caught out and refused permission to go. Another time, she was given boys trousers to wear after an accident, which made her 'feel even more uncomfortable'.
