New Zealand has declared a national state of emergency after a cyclone hit the country, leaving thousands displaced and landslides destroying homes. FatimaManji reports.
Cyclone Gabrielle has also left almost a quarter of a million people without power. And with a number of regions still cut off, the extent of the damage is unclear.
