Cumbria man Keith Woodburn missing for 33 years could be living in Scotland, says police
Man who helped Ryan Kirkpatrick murderers evade justice is on the run after police no-show
Officers say he was reportedly seen in Aberdeen at some point between September 1993 and the early part of 1995. A woman, who knew Mr Woodburn from his time in Ulverston, reported seeing him briefly during a lunch break in Union Street, Aberdeen. She was not aware that Mr Woodburn was reported missing at the time and it is her belief that he was living in the Torry area of Aberdeen. Enquires were conducted byofficers in Aberdeen following the sighting, however this has not yet generated any further information as to Mr Woodburn’s whereabouts.
The renewed appeal for information today follows a review by Cumbria Constabulary’s Force Major Investigation Team. The team, in line with other UK police forces, periodically review long-term missing person investigations to see if any further lines of inquiry can be completed to attempt to locate them.Officers investigating this case are making a renewed attempt to see if anyone living in the Aberdeen area has any knowledge of Mr Woodburn.
