The Eagles defeated the Comets, 4-1 to advance in the District 3-4A girls soccer tournament on Tuesday.
MECHANICSBURG – In the first meeting between No. 13 Penn Manor and No. 4 Cumberland Valley since a preseason scrimmage, it was the latter that got off on the right foot to kick off the District 3 Class 4A girls soccer tournament.
The Eagles defeated the Comets, 4-1 at Eagle View Field on Tuesday. With the win, Cumberland Valley punched its ticket back to the District 3-4A quarterfinals where the Eagles will host the winner between No. 5 Mechanicsburg and No. 12 Dallastown on Saturday, time TBD.
