The menu fell into place. Islas, who grew up in New Jersey, is in her realm experimenting with new ideas. She makes horchata , whipped cream and water drinks in flavors such as cucumber/lime and hibiscus from scratch.The mini pancakes sell in platter sizes ranging from 15 pieces up to 100 pieces and come with a choice of three toppings such as fruits, rolled wafers, pocky sticks, marshmallows, Reese’s chunks, chocolate syrup and condensed milk. Islas makes the pancake batter from scratch.
“If you want freshness and you want to know and taste the goodness of miniature pancakes, you need to try them here,” she said. Traditional Mexican corn is served two ways - whole corn or in a cup with mayonnaise, sour cream and Tajin, a seasoned chili powder. The menu also includes French fries, waffle pops, fresh fruit with cream, smoothies, espresso drinks, hot dogs and corn dogs. Next week, Islas said she’s adding churros including churro sundaes and churro bites with condensed milk.
