Four bands lined up for outdoor party Saturday night on George Street
The good news is warm and sunny conditions are predicted for the four bands lined up to play live on the stage on George Street and an expected crowd of 1,800 party-goers who plan to attend the event.It's the first Street Fest event since 2019.
Said the Whale, a Vancouver -based indie folk/rock band that won a Juno Award for best new group of the year, will headline Street Fest. They are backed by Delhi 2 Dublin, whose distinctive sound stems from their Celtic/South Asian roots. Also on the Street Fest music slate is garage punk band Crones and local band Barbed Wire, featuring Scott La Pointe, who earns his living working for the hosts of the event, CrossRoads Brewing & Distillery.A general admission tickets costs $75, which includes two food/drink tickets. A VIP pass good for two drink/food tickets as well as taproom access and outdoor patio seating costs $150.
