The Crosby restaurant has been serving customers for over 20 years, and that loyalty is playing out on Crawfish Shack's busy highway intersection.
"This is our 20th year in business so we've built a loyal customer base over the years," he said.
When Crawfish Shack first opened, it was the first crawfish-only to-go place in Harris County. Though the first two seasons were slow, the restaurant's popularity surged in its third. It has since grown its following every year since, excluding the 2020 when the pandemic hit.More for you"It's really a craze because people haven’t eaten them in six or seven months, so they don't mind the smaller size and higher price.
Crawfish by the pound at the shack is currently $8.95 a pound and $7.95 for 15 pounds or more. Meaux says the price will likely go down next week. Dine-in officially returns on Feb. 15.
