UPDATE: A CrimeStoppers tip has led Lincoln police to Sean Douglas Lawson, wanted on multiple charges including child pornography and sexual abuse

The Lincoln Police Department notified Crime Stoppers that Sean Douglas Lawson was arrested and is no longer wanted by law enforcement.

Officers said Lawson was arrested on Friday, March 25, 2022, by members of the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department and the Lincoln Police Department. Lawson was located in the 300 block of Eden Acres Lane in Eden after receiving an anonymous tip.Crime Stoppers said the tipster will be paid a reward through Crime Stoppers for information that led to the arrest of Sean Lawson.
