1,316 people were in hospitals with COVID\u002D19, 27 of them in intensive care

The province reported 418 new COVID-19 cases had been confirmed through PCR testing at its clinics. However, because this method of testing is not accessible to most Quebecers, the case numbers are not representative of the situation in the province.
