JOHN'S, N.L. — Four teenagers accused of attempting to murder another teen at a St. John’s high school earlier this month appeared in provincial court Friday afternoon, March 17.
Walsh warned those in the courtroom, including loved ones and friends of the three boys, that the accused youths' identity and that of the victim of the attack are protected by a publication ban, which applies to more than just members of the media. A bail hearing went ahead Friday for the fourth teenager, 18-year-old Tyler Greening of Paradise, who is charged with acting as an accessory by helping one of the youths escape, as well as attempted murder, aggravated assault and assault with a weapon as a party to the offences.
