Country music singer and four-time Grammy nominee Ingrid Andress on Tuesday apologized for her national anthem performance at MLB's Home Run Derby on Monday, saying she was drunk and is checking into a rehabilitation facility.

Andress, 32, on Tuesday apologized for her performance, saying she was drunk at the time and is checking into a rehabilitation facility.
“I apologize to MLB, all the fans and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun. xo, Ingrid,” she added.she was “missing notes along the way and drawing visible reaction from the players on hand.”Andress released her debut album, “Lady Like,” in 2020. Her breakthrough single, “More Hearts Than Mine,” peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on the list for 20 weeks.
The following year in 2021, Andress released “Wishful Drinking,” which peaked at No. 47 on Billboard and also spent 20 weeks among the Top 100.
