SHOULD YOU WISH to commemorate the coronavirus with a tattoo, you already have plenty of design choices.
Under varying degrees of lockdown, tattoo artists have depicted everything from cartoon-like coronavirus molecules to the beak-like plague masks worn by 17th-century doctors; Corona beer bottles in various states of explosion; hand sanitizer; and, yes, rolls of toilet paper. Even as the pandemic still grips much of the planet, tattoo enthusiasts have found ways to brand themselves with memories of this time. For some, it’s a joke. For others, it’s deadly serious.
