CORONATION Street bosses have decided to shelve Hope Stape's villainous story arc's in a bid to show a more human version of the character.have been used to seeing the wayward youngster wreak havoc on the cobbles and cause carnage for parents Fiz and Tyrone but executive producer Iain MacLeod has confirmed that is all set to change.
Among them, he informed fans that he and the show's writers were hoping to show a different side to Hope Stape, played by Isabella Flanagan, in the coming months. Revealing thier plans for the character, Iain said: "She's certainly not going to continue going down such a troubled path, in the short to medium to long-term.
"We thought: 'Actually, we've done some very dark and twisted things with that character, and okay that'll still be part of her, but for the next 12 months we're going to do normal pre-teen stuff."
