A San Antonio police officer and veteran is recovering after he and his wife were hit by a truck just before Thanksgiving.
April Maldonado was a 42-year-old wife and mother of four. She was killed after she and her husband Jason were hit by a truck just before ThanksgivingSAN ANTONIO - "What makes this even more tragic for us is just knowing what a good, wonderful, and kind person April was," said Corey Wroblewski.A loving wife, and mother, was gone in an instant. Her husband was severely injured.
Jason, a military veteran and 15+ year San Antonio Police officer suffered broken ribs, a broken pelvis, and other serious injuries on that Tuesday morning."All this stuff is just very overwhelming for him right now," Wroblewski said. " currently dealing with funeral arrangements for his wife. He's going to have lengthy medical bills. He's not going to be allowed to be on his feet for over two months.
