Mayor Richard Newton will deliver his annual address on Colleyville’s progress and future on Feb. 9. The event has been delayed a week to avoid complications from expected wintery weather.Anna CaplanColleyville’s mayor will update residents on the city’s accomplishments twice on Wednesday, Feb. 9, in his annual State of the City address.

The pair of events was originally planned for Thursday, Feb. 3, but they were rescheduled to avoid the expected arrival of inclement winter weather. Mayor Richard Newton will be delivering his presentation twice so residents will have multiple opportunities to hear about the city’s accomplishments in 2021, as well as over the past six years,Residents’ first chance to hear the address will take place at a Colleyville Chamber of Commerce Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Colleyville Center. Tickets are available through the chamber of commerce. Later, residents can attend an open house beginning at 6 p.m.
