Organizers were a little worried about being able to reach the fundraising goal of $90,000 but by the time came for the walk to begin, the group was just $2,000 short.
THUNDER BAY – Coldest Night Walk organizers were blown away by the support shown from the community during their 10th annual event Saturday evening.
Approximately 325 walkers came out to help raise funds this year and Gary Macsemchuk, event director, said they were overwhelmed by the support from the city.
