PARMA, Ohio — A 16-year-old male trying to escape from police in a stolen vehicle was caught Tuesday, but not before causing a three-vehicle crash in Cleveland’s Old Brooklyn neighborhood. The chase started at about 1:43 p.m. on Ridge Road near Pelham Drive when a Parma officer tried to stop a Kia SUV that was driving recklessly. The driver refused to stop, heading north on Ridge Road before turning right on Pearl Road, then heading east on Brookpark Road.
The Kia eventually turned north on State Road before quickly getting into a crash with two other vehicles. Police say the teen jumped from the Kia and tried to run, but was caught by officers. Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
