“Cleveland’s historic ties to German culture are on full display at Oktoberfest, an eagerly anticipated event that spans two separate September weekends,” USA Today writes. “The city’s top breweries are all in attendance, but beyond the beer, guests can also enjoy live music, hearty pub fare, and a lengthy list of events ranging from car shows to wiener dog racing.”Cincinnati also made the Top 20 nominations. This year’s Oktoberfest Zinzinnati will take place Sept.

“Each September, downtown Cincinnati comes alive during Oktoberfest Zinzinnati,” USA Today writes. “Said to be the largest such celebration in the U.S., it draws some 700,000 revelers with German food and beer, live music, dancing, and the running of the wiener dogs — each of them sporting an adorable hot dog and bun outfit.”
