What was expected as a soggy start to the season, according to the weather forecasts, turned out to be sunny and steamy inside Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. Trusting those forecasts, I packed all my rain gear and left the sunscreen at home, leaving me a bit burned by the time Cade York’s final kick went through the uprights.

I had panned off the o-line and was trying to find York through my lens for the celebration. It took a moment for him to appear through all of the players on the field, but I loved how the team swarmed him after his 58-yard kick.
