CLEVELANDCleveland City Council President Blaine Griffin has hired consultants to help redraw the city's ward boundaries this year.

Griffin said it will be challenging to redraw the city's ward boundaries. He said population density varies around the city. For example, there are more abandoned homes and vacant lots on the East Side. Griffin and other members supported following the charter and argued it would appear self-serving to amend the city's charter.
