After the spring game, attention will shift away from football and crews will ready the stadium for other special events. Dave Redelberger, also known as 'Dave the Arena Dude', describes the stadium as an amazing canvas for hosting various events.
Cleaning crews work to spiff up one of the cathedrals of college football , the Ohio Stadium -- known as " The Shoe " for its horseshoe shape -- dating back to before permanent stands were built on the south end in 1995. Saturday's spring game is just the start of a run of amazing events happening at The Show this summer.
After Saturday's spring game, attention turns away from football, and crews will ready The Shoe for some amazing events. You'll be in the upper deck, hitting a ball out onto the field -- whether it be special holes on the field, and it's a chance for that, you know -- golf fans to experience something like they've never done before," said Redelberger.Then in June, get ready to rock The Shoe at the latest new concert, Buckeye Country Superfest. Zach Bryan headlines the two day affair on the field.
