City man charged after vehicle hits rock cut

THUNDER BAY — A 33-year-old city man suffered non-life-threatening injuries when his vehicle struck a rock cut on Highway 527 over the holiday weekend.

He spotted a damaged vehicle at the side of the highway and located an injured person nearby.The man faces several criminal charges including impaired driving, careless driving and driving with an open container of liquor in a vehicle.
