Meeting set for May 16 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Superior Heights cafeteria

City Hall says it is committed to finding ways to lessen the impact of land and basement flooding during rainfall and snowmelt in the Peoples Road area. The preliminary preferred solution includes a combination of municipal and property owner measures, the city said in a news release.

While this may be of interest to people in the immediate area, residents who live in other flood-prone neighbourhoods are welcome to attend the information session and provide feedback, the city says. The project is being planned under Schedule B of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment process.

Consultants and municipal staff will be available to discuss project details and gather input from the public, the city added.
