One of the challenges of being a fan of an NFL team— and certainly of writing about one— is not being sucked into feeling like whatever the most recent result was is a referendum on the team itself. Make no mistake, the Seahawks’ performance tonight was a true comedy of errors and I’m not going to spend this article pretending otherwise. Seattle stunk in a game where their opponents were sharp and the scoreboard reflected it. You don’t need a blow-by-blow account of the loss.
