The shortage of trees has raised prices “a couple bucks here and there” at Strathmeyer lots, he said. “Around inflation,” Strathmeyer added. She’s holding prices steady at $35 and up for the farm’s trees, she said, though Springfield is also seeing a lower supply. “I’m not sure the government wants to raise costs on something that brings so many people so much happiness,” Harman said.
