Asia, France, Australia and Russia top Chinese tourists’ lists for must-visit destinations

with flowers and gifts at Bangkok’s international airport.

Mr. Lin, the travel agent in Richmond, B.C., told The Globe that, prior to the pandemic, around 75 per cent of his customers were mainlanders, but now the number has dropped to 5 per cent. “We were very excited when the reopening news came out. But now I’m conservative about the rebound,” he added.
