The Department of Cell and Molecular Physiology at Loyola University Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine seeks applicants for a full-time Director of Mass Spectrometry.
We are seeking enthusiastic applicants who enjoy working with graduate students to help implement the curriculum and lead the Mass Spectrometry laboratory for the brand-new Master of Science in Clinical and Applied Proteomics program. Qualified candidates with a master’s degree or higher and at least two years of experience with Mass Spectrometry instruments are encouraged to apply.
Provide general lab maintenance including calibrations, inventory, cleaning, safety and compliance, etc.Minimum qualifications: Master’s degree or higher and two years’ experience with mass spectrometry instrumentationThe SSOM is undergoing rapid growth in all of its basic departments. Laboratory space will be in the state-of-the-art Center for Translational Research and Education . Review of applications will commence immediately, and applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
