Charmin has announced a new design in its toilet paper for the first time in 100 years — and it’s not what you think. The easy-tear paper will have scalloped edges in an effort to give consumers a simpler and smoother tear, according to Charmin.It will be incorporated in the Ultra Soft paper category, the company said.
Charmin's vice president, Rob Reinerman of Procter & Gamble, told FOX Business the company is excited to be "re-inventing" the square. Senior scientist at Procter & Gamble Gregg Weaver said in a media statement that users’ top complaint for years has been an inability to get even tears in the paper.
