Elizabeth Banks declared on Twitter Monday that she's still proud of 'Charlie's Angels,' the girl-powered action flick, after a dismal opening weekend.

“Charlie’s Angels” director Elizabeth Banks isn’t letting one dismal opening weekend crush her spirits.

The girl-powered action flick starring Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska as the franchise’s newest class of spies performedat the box office upon its release. It landed in third place at $8.6 million, behind the Oscar-buzzy “Ford v Ferrari” and the glossy war drama “Midway,” which made an additional $8.8 million in its second weekend — despite getting torn apart by critics.
