Chapelwaite, the Epix series based on Stephen King's short story Jerusalem's Lot, has been renewed for season 2.
Epix will develop Chapelwaite season 2. The horror series is an adaptation of Stephen King's short story Jerusalem's Lot, a village also featured in King's novel Salem's Lot , released three years before the short story. The series stars Adrien Brody as Charles Boone, a whaling ship captain who returns to his ancestral home of Chapelwaite with his three children following his wife's untimely death.
Variety shares Epix's development slate coming out of the Television Critics Association's 2022 winter press tour, including Chapelwaite's season 2 announcement. Preliminary plot details state that"the new season will reveal that the Boone family's curse didn't die with Jakub and that De Vermis Mysteriis remains as powerful as ever.
Other cast members include Hugh Thompson as Constable Dennison, Gord Rand as Minister Burroughs, and Steven McCarthy as Stephen Boone. Jason Filardi and Peter Filardi serve as co-showrunners and Executive Produce alongside Donald De Line. Stay tuned as more information about Chapelwaite season 2 emerges. .
