The last day for businesses to pick up their rapid tests will be Monday, June 26
The Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce is wrapping up its COVID-19 Rapid Screening Initiative this month.“Businesses can order extra inventory as supplies last,” said the chamber in a news release. “All orders placed at this time are being filled on a first-ordered / first-fulfilled basis.”
Those who missed their pick up on June 19 can pick up on Monday, June 26 between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.“Under the provincial program providing these test kits, we cannot fulfill orders placed by individual persons or orders intended for personal use,” it added. Since June 2021, the Sault Ste. Marie Chamber of Commerce has distributed more than 111,000 free COVID-19 rapid tests to more than 500 local small businesses with 150 or fewer employees.
