An ex-executive said he was fired from Cerebral in retaliation for speaking up about unlawful and unethical business practices.
Matthew Truebe says he was fired from the mental health startup Cerebral in retaliation for speaking up about unlawful and unethical business practices, including overprescribing ADHD medications and failing to report patient data breaches, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday.
"The allegations in the complaint are not true, and the Company denies them in all respects,” a Cerebral spokesperson said in an emailed statement. “We plan to vigorously defend ourselves against these false and unfounded allegations."
