Celebrity stylist Martino Cartier from Sewell, New Jersey started Wigs and Wishes to help cancer patients.
SEWELL, N.J. --Through his work, he realized how important it is to make sure every woman who sits in his chair leaves feeling beautiful.
That includes those battling cancer, many of whom have to make the difficult decision to shave their heads. Twelve years ago, he met a patient who could find a wig that looked realistic, so he decided to make his own.His secret is to make hand-tied laced scalps that match the person's skin tone.He's now partnering with salons around the world to distribute about 25,000 wigs per year!
