Suitcases and valuables were also stolen from inside the car

Police have issued a CCTV appeal after two men stole a catalytic converter from a car - then smashed the window and stole suitcases and valuables from inside.

The incident happened in a car park on Park Place Cheetham Hill on Thursday, December 8, police said. The two suspects first stole a catalytic converter from the vehicle. They then fled the scene. Moments later, the same two males returned and smashed in the rear window of the car.They stole suitcases and valuables from inside, police added. Officers have today issued an appeal urging anyone with information about the incident - which is believed to have happened between 11.55am and 4pm - to come forward.

Police also want to speak to the two men who are on pictured on CCTV about the incident. Anyone who recognises them is being urged to get in touch.
