The number of CBC employees earning six\u002Dfigure salaries has more than doubled since 2015, recently released numbers show.

CBC employees earning over $100,000 annually saw steep increases, rising from 599 in 2018-19 to 729 in 2019-20, 838 in 2020-21, and 949 in 2021-22.Article content“The CBC shouldn’t have doled out bonuses while taxpayers lost jobs and businesses during the pandemic,” said CTF Federal Director Franco Terrazzano.
Unlike many provincial governments, the federal government doesn’t produce an annual “sunshine list” of public employees earning over $100,000 per year.
