For Camargo, it was his second-straight game scoring a goal for the Cavs and his leading 20th all-time in team colours. Camargo also made a brilliant chip pass to send Smith-Doyle away for his first-ever strike. But the scoreline did change in favour of Wheeldon & Co., making it so they went undefeated against all CPL foes in every season-series. Valour was the only team that could’ve changed that, as the head-to-head had been 1-1-1 ahead of Friday’s penultimate game of the regular-season slate for Cavalry. The only season-series the Cavs didn’t win was against Atlético Ottawa, as that one finished 2-0-2.
